I think the difference with Bambu machines is that you get to use the WHOLE bed. Which is a huge concept coming from prusa, anycubic, creality and such printers. I mean after 100mm from center and I was sweating it and my prints come out great, when they come out. I think this part is very underrated about these machines let alone closest to push and print you can get with something you have to slice first.

The A1 is my third 3D printer. I would recommend it to both new users and experienced ones. The reliability of the machine and how well it prints miles ahead of my Ender 3 S1.

When I try to extrude the 100 mm it doesn't do anything. I've used the pre heated PLA function and when printing normaly it works fine, just not when ordering it to do so in the move menu. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Ive been going nuts all day trying to figure this out, I will try this method. Well creality doesn't seem to have a file for the cr-10-se so that sucks. If anyone finds a way to use with cura please let me know.

The differences may be small (same hotend, ~same firmware) but this shows you didn't look close enough or do proper ringing/speed/acceleration tests. Literally in the next shot there's visible ringing on the A1 print. A1's bed (256^2 area) is much heavier than A1 mini's bed (180^2 area) so the Y axis should be A1's weak point. A1 mini's cantilever design may result in X axis issues but maybe only at accelerations higher than what's reasonable for its Y axis, so overall maybe A1 mini could print faster at the same quality. Maybe, some proper testing would be nice.

Or, buy a spare pcb hot bed, thermocouple and control it with pid.

Only one thing to say: my fan broke while I was cleaning the hot end. Manually turning the fans off during this process will help you avoid that, because if you follow this tutorial to the teeth, your fans will be dangling there at full throttle, one little touch and they're gone.

Dont know if you have an Ender6 with BLtouch. If you do could you share your Printer.cfg file for the Sonic Pad. I have made what I think are the necessary changes to include the BL touch in the Klipper cfg file for the Ender6 but I cannot save or restart as it just says "Unknown pin chip name 'probe' Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the "RESTART" command to reload the config and restart the host software. Printer is halted. " Regrattably I cannot understand how to resolve this issue.

Drying comes by dry air and wind, not just by the temperature. The air must be replaced by the new one!

Hi Ricky, So I've been on to Creality this morning about calibrating the e steps for the x y and z axis. Is this something that you could cover with a video?

Hi Ricky, This series is absolutely brilliant so thank you for taking the time and walking us through the process. Yesterday I managed to to gey my first printer up and running so just 3 more to go! I'm setting up a small print farm and dimensional accuracy is going to be important, so I've printed a calibration part and found that that the x, y and z need the e steps calibrating. Did I miss that part in the series? I'm struggling to find the setting on the Sonic pad to change these parameters. If possible can you point me in the right direction please. The extruder and pressure advance is sorted now and producing great results.

I have a 3d printer with an enclosed Chamber And is there a different way I need to dry the filament ?

The dry box has an unfair advantage, the moisture absorber should not have been included.

I received my Sonic Pad for my Ender 5 plus roughly two months ago and ran updates before printing. It's odd that I don't have some sections that are displayed here, like tuning. Still, loving this series. Thank you for making it.

Hi, You have brilliant videos and i've followed as best I can. I've changed from Creality Cura (which didn't have a G29 code) to Ultimaker cura (which does) I've removed the G29 code and replaced it with the new one, unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. The mesh isn't being saved. Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong. I'm using an Ender 5 + with sonic pad.

1:44 Lies. Bambu sent out an email to content creators first about the issue, then sent out a repair or return/replace option to everyone, AND THEN they did the responsible thing and issued a recall on it. They were very irresponsible about how they handled this, and you are sugar coating it.

Did they get rid of the IOT setting in the new updated i dont see it? I can connect to the cloud, but it will not print from the cloud successfully always fails.

What I didn’t consider when buying the A1 is the higher electricity costs. The A1 Mini would have probably just done fine and oaks less space away when mounting the AMS on the wall. However I’m super happy with my A1 as a first printer (since 3 days lol).

Is the A1 and A1 mini Mac friendly?

I switch from Ender 5 to A1 Mini, A1 do the print ok in near 99% of the time and the remain1% usually is my problem. Much better then my old Ender 5 that need baby sit to make sure it print correctly. Also i hardly use up the full Ender 5 bed size due bed problem. I printed full items that near used up full A1 mini bed size without any problem. Although A1 mini bed is smaller, I can successful print bigger item then my Ender 5.

Here is an Idea, Instead of wasting your money on these outdated , overpriced Bambu printers. Go buy an Anycubic Kobra 3 combo that is WAY better than both of these in EVERY WAY. Bigger surface, faster print speed, better construction, better print, less waste and no recalls......$479 and you get 2 roll of filament and a bunch of other extras.

Qidi tech still the only affordable option for those who need active chamber heating. Not sure why other manufacturers are so slow to catch up.
